Who are we?
We are a group of students in Weston High School focused on protecting the environment near Weston and Massachusetts
What have we done?
Throughout 2022 and 2023, we have taken significant actions to try and help the environment around us.
Introducing recycling to Weston
We create plastic recycling cans and distributed it around the High School so that we can recycle some of our large plastic usage.
Lobbying for local change
We lobbied our local representative Alice Peisch, and pushed for climate education.
Highlighted environmental science to students
We invited over Dr.Yi Zheng who specializes in technology related to cleaner forms of energy, and gave oppurtunities to students for internships and research.
Trash cleanups
We cleaned and picked up trash from around the High School, involving the entire student body on Earth Day. In the end we managed to pick up 15+ full bags of trash.
